A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

This was originally started over 10 years ago and abandoned. I returned to complete it earlier this month.

Ball and Valor is a ball and paddle game that came from a clone of Arkanoid. However, it uses some differences under the hood based on new physics engine modeling and also updated collision models.

The level of difficulty from the 1980s is still there however. It is challenging but it can be beaten. Extra lives are given every 20,000 points. You'll need every one of them.

Beat a stage to unlock the next one. You can use the Stage Select menu to go back and play any stages you have beaten.

There are 36 stages inside ready to frustrate you. Enjoy!

Controls

Ball and Valor will work with keyboard and gamepads. Tested and working with XBox 360 and PS5 controllers.

Powerups

Catch - Allows you to capture all balls in play for a certain amount of time.

Duplicate - Creates 2 duplicate balls

Expand - Increases  the size of your paddle. You can use this with the Catch powerup.

Extra Life

Laser - Destroy bricks with impunity. Will disappear if you get Expand or Catch.

Slow - Slows down all balls. These can be stacked to create a bigger slowdown, but they do wear off after a certain amount of time.

Warp - Automatically jump to the next stage. 10,000 additional points are also granted.
